The Lincoln Mosaic was a project completed by the special needs class at Medina High School, the artist's alma mater. The artist created 4"wX6"h cards with bold areas outlined on the white cards labeled L for light, and D for dark. The kids chose a light colored marker, and dark marker and colored in the areas using their own creative designs. At the end we pieced it together and together created a work of art. The piece is now framed and hanging in the high school with a commemorative plaque honoring the kids, with the title "Individually Special, Together a Work of Art".
The Root Road Bridge Ashtabula County is an original watercolor on 11 x 14 paper. Originally commissioned by the Root Road Covered Bridge Festival Committee to be sold by the artist at the bridge during the festival, with the proceeds benefiting their organization.
This original 11 x 14 watercolor painting is actually a finger painting using finger prints as the "brush strokes". There's a simple verse in the Bible that states "Jesus wept", which conveys the human nature of Jesus. The watercolor paint drips down the cheeks capture the essence of that moment.
