Definitions Change ©
My world envisioned is now disarranged.
And life's definitions have certainly changed.
So before you judge me based on your views
Judge me not less you've walked in my shoes.
For life is not as I planned it to be,
And I'm not the person I once knew as me.

Improbable Grace ©
Restoring my faith seems an improbable task Disguising my sorrow behind a jovial mask. Scarred from betrayal and ultimate deceit, Gut wrenching turmoil is my only receipt.
As the internal decay rips me apart, I no longer recognize myself, or my heart. My gift to me so I might live:
"Forgive"

One Time ©
One drop can start a river One pebble can start a landslide One coin can launch a fortune One voice can lead a nation One act can start a movement One word can heal a heart One prayer can restore a faith One smile can build a friendship One friend can change a life One promise can build a trust
One mistake can ruin it all

Struggles ©
I'm humbled in knowing my struggles are small, When I look out the window and compare them to all. For if I'm inclined for my complaints to be heard, Help me to remember the rest of the world. By putting to rest my own selfish angst, And reminding my heart to truly give thanks.

Memory Abyss ©
Unless you've visited you just can't relate, To that terrible void where life paths abate.
There's no way out for the hole's too deep. Surrounded by darkness like perpetual sleep. Blindsided betrayal leaves a permanent scar, On the fragile remains of each broken heart.
Time might heal those betrayed by a kiss, But rarely one escapes the memory abyss.
